The short version

  • Only list domains you control, and that don't target someone else's brand.
  • Real offers only. No offers you won't pay, and no offers on your own listings.
  • No going around us to avoid the fee with someone you met here.
  • Report abuse to abuse@grabyourdot.com. We look at every report.

1Listings

In short: list only what you own, and describe it honestly.

1.1Don't list a domain you don't control or can't transfer, or one that is expired, in a dispute, or locked by a registry.

1.2Don't list a domain registered to take advantage of someone else's trademark, such as a brand name with a typo. We remove these when we find them or receive a credible complaint.

1.3Don't make false claims about a domain, such as made-up traffic, revenue or past offers.

2Offers and sales

In short: deal in good faith.

2.1Don't make offers you don't intend to pay, or make or arrange offers on your own listings to push the price up.

2.2Don't arrange to finish a sale outside GrabYourDot with someone you met here, within 12 months of first contact here. If you do, the seller owes our commission.

2.3Don't use offer notes or the transfer chat to harass anyone, send spam, or share contact details to move a sale off the site.

3Sales pages on your domain

In short: the page we show on your domain must stay clean.

3.1When your domain shows its GrabYourDot sales page, don't point other parts of it at malware, phishing, adult content or anything illegal.

4Using the site

In short: don't break it, scrape it or pretend to be someone else.

4.1Don't try to get into other accounts, our systems or our holding accounts, or test our security without written permission.

4.2Don't collect listings, prices or user information with bots or scrapers, or put unreasonable load on the site.

4.3Don't pretend to be another person or business, including GrabYourDot staff.

4.4Don't try to make the transfer assistant do something it isn't meant to, such as revealing other users' information.

5Money and the law

In short: no fraud, laundering or sanctioned parties.

5.1Don't use stolen cards or accounts, or file chargebacks for domains you received.

5.2Don't use the marketplace to launder money, or to deal with people or places under US sanctions.

5.3Don't buy or sell domains that were stolen or taken without the registrant's permission.

6What we do

In short: we act in proportion to the problem.

6.1We may remove listings, cancel offers or orders, refund buyers, hold payouts while we investigate, or suspend or close accounts. Where the law requires, we report fraud and illegal activity to the authorities.

6.2If we take action against your account, we'll tell you why unless the law or an investigation prevents it. You can reply to ask us to look again.

7Reporting abuse

In short: email us with the details.

7.1Send reports to abuse@grabyourdot.com with the domain or page link and what's wrong. For trademark or copyright complaints, see "Copyright and trademark complaints" in our Site Terms.
