[Review · Domain Registrars]

DynadotIndie

Indie, technical, transparent pricing, no upsells

[01] Verdict

Dynadot is a California-based indie registrar founded in 2002 that has stayed small and technical. .com registration, renewal, and transfer all run $10.88 — a single flat number, no "intro" rate.

The interface is bulk-domain friendly with strong API, scripting, and grid-pricing tools that domain investors actively prefer. WHOIS privacy is free, DNSSEC works, and there are zero pre-checked upsells at checkout.

Downsides: the UI is dense and dated (helpful if you're managing 500 domains, off-putting if you have one), support is email-only with slower response than Namecheap chat, and the marketing site reads like 2010. None of that affects what you pay or what works.
