Hover

Clean UI, premium prices, no hosting upsells

[01] Verdict

Hover is Tucows' boutique registrar — a clean checkout, no hosting/VPN upsells, and free WHOIS privacy on every domain. The interface is genuinely the nicest in the industry.

The tradeoff is price. A .com runs about $17 first year and renews at roughly the same — honest, but $7 more per year than Cloudflare and double Porkbun's intro.

DNS is competent but unremarkable. Email forwarding is free, full mailboxes are extra. Good fit if you value the experience over saving $20/year on a domain.
